Saint Elizabeth Community in Rhode Island provides compassionate care across a continuum of services, including Assisted Living. Our 69-bed residence seeks a qualified nurse to maintain quality nursing services under the Director of Resident Care and Administrator, and to supervise staff.
The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, Rhode Island RN or LPN license, and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage resident care plans, administer medications, and participate in
Maintain quality and consistency of assisted living care and supervise staff in our 69 bed assisted living residence in accordance with current applicable Health Department regulations, and in accordance with Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living established policies and procedures. Perform duties under the direction of the Director of Resident Care and Administrator.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Must be able to interact effectively with residents, family members, staff and physicians. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to interact with Nursing Department personnel.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Certificates issued by the State permitting the administration of medications. State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license. Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and physically assist residents.
