Qualifications

• RN graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Rhode Island RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in clinical hospital, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care ensuring compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Assess resident condition changes and coordinate appropriate care.
• Develop and update care plans; conduct care conferences with residents and families.
• Ensure accurate documentation, med management, and physician order follow-up.
• Hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Provide staff training, orientation, and ongoing education.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and safety compliance.
• Manage nursing supplies and equipment availability.

• Hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff

• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Manage nursing supplies and equipment to ensure proper availability and function

Qualifications for a Director of Resident Care (RN):

• RN graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Hold a current Rhode Island RN License
• Minimum of one year experience in a clinical hospital setting, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and physically assist residents
