Malvern Behavioral Health is currently seeking a full time Nurse Manager at the South Philadelphia location! The Nurse Manager position is a full time, benefit eligible managerial position.
Position Summary: To organize and administer individualized nursing care to patients. Provides standards of nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the multidisciplinary treatment plan objectives, policies, and procedures and the Nurse Practice Act. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Assists Director of Nursing in ensuring the quality and efficiency of nursing practice at Malvern Behavioral Health.
Supervises nursing students, nurses, nursing assistants and mental health technicians

Current licensure as a nurse in PA. Clinical experience in the treatment of behavioral health preferred. Current CPR certification. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards.
Ability to work in a supportive, caring and non-judgmental manner with staff and patients to gain confidence and cooperation with patients. Ability to care plan and identify appropriate nursing interventions. Microsoft Office Proficient. EMR experience preferred.
