Job summary

Malvern Behavioral Health is seeking a Full‑time Registered Nurse to work at our new facility located at 3905 W. Ford Road, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

The RN will provide direct patient care under the guidance of the physician and treatment team, handling medical management and patient assessments. Responsibilities include ensuring environmental safety, crisis management, directing behavior management programs, documenting patient care, updating care plans, and coordinating with referral sources

Qualifications

• Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
• Knowledge of milieu management.
• Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
• Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side‑effects.
• Ability to safely implement Special Treatment Procedures.
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation.

Malvern Behavioral Health is seeking Full‑time Registered Nurses to work at our new facility located at 3905 W. Ford Road, Philadelphia, PA 19131. The Registered Nurse position is a full‑time day shift role providing direct patient care under the guidance of the physician and treatment team. Responsibilities include medical management and assessment of patients, ensuring environmental safety and crisis management, directing behavior management programs, making patient & task assignments to subordinates and monitoring performance, providing training and education to staff, patients, families and others, documenting patient care, updating nursing care plans, working with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu, and coordinating with referral sources and insurance companies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Clinical experience in the treatment of addiction and mental health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Program and Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation standards.
• Previous nursing experience is preferred but not required.
