Job summary

Minden Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to progressively lead our Inpatient Rehab Unit. This role provides leadership to keep the Rehab Unit aligned, patient-focused, and ready to help people regaining function and confidence.

You will guide safe, high-quality rehabilitative nursing care while supporting a consistent, customer service mindset in collaboration with therapy and other partners.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN Licensure (LA State Board of Nursing or multistate)
• Direct clinical nursing experience; rehabilitative nursing care preferred (3 years), with 1 year required

• Monitor quality, documentation, and safety practices; address concerns promptly
• Use data and feedback to drive improvements and a strong patient experience

You will connect with the team, check in on patient progress and how the unit is supporting regaining goals. Throughout the day, you'll join quick touchpoints with therapy and other partners, respond to real-time questions, and keep communication clear for patients and families. You'll also make time for rounding and listening-celebrating wins, addressing barriers, and reinforcing customer service moments that build trust.
