Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Nurse Manager for our inpatient detox/residential facility. You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate medical and clinical care, and ensure compliant, high-quality patient treatment.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN with Indiana RN licensure and several years of clinical nursing experience, including leadership. SUD experience and strong regulatory knowledge are preferred; benefits and a supportive team culture are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for every client.
• Coordinate client care between medical, clinical departments, UR team, external providers, and pharmacies.
• Oversee all nursing and medical staff recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Maintain medical workflow and review protocols and operations.
• Ensure quality medical documentation and charting standards through weekly reviews.

Now hiring a Nurse Manager for our inpatient detox/residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN!

What You'll Do

• Ensure quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for every Avenues client
• Ensure seamless coordination of client care between medical and clinical departments, UR team, external healthcare providers, and pharmacies
• Oversee all medication inventory, logs, and authorizations, lab shipments and reports, medical supplies and equipment etc.
• Oversee and direct all nursing and medical support staff (interviews, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, shift coverage, HR needs, and performance reviews)
• Maintain medical workflow process and conduct ongoing reviews of protocol and operations
• Ensure quality medical documentation and charting standards through weekly chart review

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Several years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in SUD treatment preferred
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies
• Ability to delegate, problem-solve, and motivate staff
