Job summary

Oakwood Care Center in Iowa is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the clinical team, ensuring residents receive medications and care per individualized plans. You will conduct resident assessments and supervise nursing staff, advocating for residents at all times.

The ideal candidate holds an unencumbered Iowa RN or LPN license and has at least one year of SNF experience, with prior unit manager experience preferred. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing facility.
• Prior unit manager experience required.
• Ability to lead a clinical department and advocate for residents.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. One (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility and previous unit manager experience required.

As a Nurse Manager you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Oakwood Care Center by ensuring residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
