Description:
We are pleased to invite you to become a member of our dynamic and innovative team. Fraser Villa is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Nurse Supervisor for its community in Fraser, MI. Fraser Villa is a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC), which operates over 40 communities across multiple states. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise daily nursing activities performed by shift staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain comprehensive care.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the community's quality assurance program for the nursing department.
  • Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Complete required record-keeping forms and charts upon resident admission, transfer, or discharge.
  • Perform routine charting duties following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians, observing the five rights of medication administration.
  • Review medication and treatment records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing staff performance meets standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved LPN or RN program.
  • Current, active RN license in the state.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric populations preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High personal accountability, responsibility, and decision-making abilities.
