DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In our long-term care facility, you will perform duties as a Licensed Practical Nurse, including planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care in collaboration with a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Work Hours and Additional Information:

1. Part-time employment; 40 hours biweekly
   1. Work hours: 2nd shift 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
2. Working every other weekend is required
3. Telework: Telework is not available for this position.
4. Salary: Starting hourly wage is $31.67 for new employees within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
5. DMVA's Nursing Referral Program offers up to $4,000 for referrals that lead to hire and retention.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

• Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees with a temporary permit must obtain full licensure within one year.
• PA residency requirement is waived for this role.
• If within 60 days of completing an approved LPN program, you may apply. Proof of current PA permit or license is required at appointment.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A medical examination may be required after conditional employment offer.
• Employment is contingent upon successful criminal background checks, including PA State Police and FBI clearances, under the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
