DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In our long-term care facility, you will perform duties as a Licensed Practical Nurse, including planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care in collaboration with a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Your work will help improve our residents' quality of life by providing excellent care. Interested in learning more? Additional details can be found in the position description.

Work Hours and Additional Information:

  1. Part-time employment; 40 hours biweekly
    1. Work hours: 2nd shift 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
  2. Working every other weekend is required
  3. Telework: Telework is not available for this position.
  4. Salary: Starting hourly wage is $31.67 for new employees within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  5. DMVA's Nursing Referral Program offers up to $4,000 for referrals that lead to hire and retention.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

  • Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • All employees with a temporary permit must obtain full licensure within one year.
  • PA residency requirement is waived for this role.
  • If within 60 days of completing an approved LPN program, you may apply. Proof of current PA permit or license is required at appointment.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • A medical examination may be required after conditional employment offer.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful criminal background checks, including PA State Police and FBI clearances, under the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
