Job summary

Hcshiring in Spokane, WA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support quality resident care, including medication assistance, nursing services, and staff training.

You will collaborate with the director of nursing, uphold residents' dignity and independence, assist with ADLs, follow care plans, and maintain documentation and infection control standards.

Job description

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current LPN license in good standing
