Qualifications

• BSN required. If a non-nursing degree is held, the graduate degree must be in nursing.
• Maryland RN licensure or eligibility per Maryland Board of Nursing (compact state rules).
• 3 years of clinical experience required.
• Advanced certification (e.g., NE-BC, CEN, PCCN) required within 3 years of start.
• ACLS, BLS or other certifications to match patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift-level operations and manage team performance.
• Partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure operational excellence, staff engagement, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Support staff onboarding, performance management, and succession planning; drive multidisciplinary initiatives.
