Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to lead nursing teams, manage resources, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care on the unit. You will partner with the Clinical Manager on PI initiatives, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include RN licensure with BSN preferred, and at least two years of clinical nursing with leadership experience. Strong communication and performance improvement knowledge are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred; ADN or Diploma may be considered with commitment to BSN.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing practice; leadership experience preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty within 6 months of eligibility.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• Knowledge of JCAHO standards and healthcare evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in personnel management and staff development as appropriate.
• Contribute to PI plans and initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic environment and regulatory compliance on the unit.
• Coordinate nursing care with Clinical Manager and other disciplines.
• Assist in interviewing for staff vacancies in a timely manner.
• Participate in leadership meetings, councils, and special projects.
