Job summary

NewCourtland is seeking a Director of Staff Development & Quality Improvement to oversee education, infection control and QA across the facility in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on elevating resident well-being through evidence-based practices and staff development.

Qualifications include a BSN with RN licensure in Pennsylvania, BCLS current, and 5+ years of long-term care nursing experience; MSN is strongly recommended, with 2–3 years in management with direct care staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN strongly recommended.
• Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse with current BCLS.
• 5 years of professional nursing in long-term care preferred; leadership exp.

Responsibilities

• Conducts education, infection control, quality assurance and admission screening.
• Utilizes resources efficiently to enhance residents' physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
• Provides orientation, training and in-service education; leads clinical informatics.
• Oversees infection control, residents and employee health, and quality improvement.
