Courtland Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Courtland, VA is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. The role emphasizes compliant operations, staffing oversight, and staff development within a long-term care setting.

Applicants should have a graduate nursing degree, a DON background, and at least 3 years RN experience; a BSN is preferred. Opportunity for advancement and competitive compensation are offered within a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• DON experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or related field preferred.
• 3 years RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the nursing staff.
• Ensures the nursing department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement and update department policy and procedures when necessary or as directed.
• Responsible for providing consistent and sufficient staffing for Resident needs as well as regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for training and educating staff members.
• Supervisory Responsibility- This position has direct supervisor responsibilities for R.N.'s, L.P.N.'s, Certified Nurse Aides, and other personnel assigned.
