Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an RN to lead venous access and infusion care. You will develop individualized care plans, supervise staff, and educate patients on infusion therapies while ensuring safety and high standards of care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 1+ year leadership in acute care. Fulltime night shifts with comprehensive benefits are provided by AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ nursing experience in acute care preferred.
• Associate's of Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access needs.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor and mentor staff; drive quality improvement initiatives.
