Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise STNAs in a supportive, team-focused environment. You will participate in care planning, maintain accurate records, and communicate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, adherence to nursing regulations, and participation in ongoing quality initiatives to improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures, and applicable laws/regulations for nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and wound care.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned STNAs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager.
• Maintain accurate resident records and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and other healthcare professionals.
