Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Acute Care of the Elderly Nights in Nashville. The Clinical Staff Leader will supervise a cohort of RNs, lead quality patient care, and drive staff development while coordinating with the nursing leadership team.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and an active TN license or compact license. Night shifts total 40 hours weekly with a mix of admin and charge responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• TN license or active compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with and develops the cohort and staff as needed.
• Defines standards for quality patient care.
• Develops and evaluates the unit based on team performance.
• Manages multiple projects and timelines in alignment with the strategic plan.
• Acts as clinical leader and coaches staff on clinical standards.
