Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to lead nursing teams and drive performance improvement on the unit. You will collaborate with the Clinical Manager on staffing, budgeting, and regulatory standards while promoting professional autonomy and shared decision making.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of clinical nursing practice, one year in leadership, an RN license in Ohio, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred; ADN or Diploma may be considered in lieu of BSN upon hire.
• Minimum of two (2) years in clinical nursing practice; one (1) year leadership or charge role preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and organizational systems, and strategies.
• Familiarity with quality, performance improvement and accreditation standards.
• BLS certification and current RN licensure in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development and implementation of PI plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide evaluations and coaching to staff; ensure accountability for responsibilities.
• Ensure staff competencies and unit educator oversight; promote staff development.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager and leadership to optimize staffing and patient throughput.
• Coordinate with physicians and other disciplines to maintain safe, high-quality care.
