• Directs nursing department operations, policies, and standards.
• Provides education, direction, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with physicians, consultants, and institutions to improve quality of services.
• Prepares annual nursing department budget and monitors expenses.
• Participates in performance improvement with data collection and analysis.
