The role emphasizes staff coaching, interdepartmental coordination, and a focus on safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional customer experience in a demanding clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Florida.
• BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; 1+ year acute care experience implied by CANM role.
• Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be required depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality care and patient flow.
• Manage staffing assignments based on patient acuity and team competencies.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Monitor patient status and collaborate to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• Coach and mentor the nursing team and promote a culture of safety and inclusion.
