Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks an experienced nurse leader to plan and provide advanced nursing care with local leadership in administration, education, informatics and quality. The role requires BSN, ED experience, and DUHS ladder level IV, with on-site, full-time shifts and weekend rotation.

Lead standards of care, staff development, and interdepartmental collaboration while driving quality and patient safety initiatives; supervise performance reviews

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina (compact allowed).
• Emergency Department experience required.
• DUHS Career Ladder level IV eligibility and criteria.

Responsibilities

• Identify care needs for patient populations across the continuum of care.
• Collaborate to develop standards of care and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and provide leadership in patient care delivery.
• Mentor nursing staff to support professional growth across the continuum of care.
• Lead quality initiatives at department and organizational levels.
• Conduct performance reviews and participate in personnel actions as needed.
• Perform other duties incidental to the role.
