Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.
• Applicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for level IV.
• Emergency Department experience is required.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide advanced and/or specialized nursing care for patients in accordance with nursing guidelines.
• Provide local level leadership in administration, education, informatics and quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and lead delivery of patient care.
• Lead educational activities, departmental committees, research projects and other health-related initiatives.
• Guide growth of others across the continuum of care through coaching and mentoring.
