Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks an Assistant Clinical Manager to coordinate the patient care area during shifts and manage patient flow using evidence-based practices. The ACM applies nursing theory to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care while ensuring quality outcomes.

The role leads an interdisciplinary team, assigns patients to RNs and CNAs, and participates in hiring, reviews, and performance management to support optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training (can be obtained through various organizations).
• Knowledge of nursing process, case coordination, and patient care applications.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the operations of the patient care area for the shift.
• Assign patient assignments to RNs, CNAs, Nurse Externs, and other team members.
• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and competency requirements.
