Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program and completion of fundamentals of clinicals in an accredited Nursing program are required.
• 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care within scope of practice, including vital sign monitoring, hygiene assistance, and patient comfort measures.
• Communicates effectively with the care team, including handoffs and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Develops clinical skills under the guidance of an RN by asking questions and seeking feedback.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and ensures safety and compliance standards.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and proper storage of patient care tools after discharge.
• Performs hourly rounding and documents tasks clearly and timely.
• Upholds excellent customer service with patients, families, and departments.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
