Responsibilities

  • Performs responsibilities related to safe disposal of hazardous pharmaceutical waste.
  • Communicates patient and unit information to RN Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, Director, and other shifts using proper channels.
  • Helps maintain positive interdepartmental communication and teamwork.
  • Adheres to all West Tennessee Healthcare policies and procedures.

Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.NURSE INTERN INTERNAL TRANSFER GUIDELINEEmployees in a Nurse Intern role must remain in the position for a minimum of 12 months before being eligible to apply for internal transfers within West Tennessee Healthcare, unless they graduate from an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program and are eligible for a Graduate Nurse position.
