Unitek Learning seeks a Nurse Instructor (RN) for its campus-based LPN program. No prior teaching exp required. Full-time position with clinical, lab, and simulation instruction, plus student mentoring and evaluation responsibilities.

The role requires current RN licensure, a BSN, and willingness to pursue MSN within five years. ATI certification and Basic Life Support are expected, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state you teach.
• BSN required; MSN preferred or must enroll in an MSN program within 5 years of start.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Must obtain ATI Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current immunizations and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
• Ensure class attendance and submit grades.
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinicals.
• Utilize teaching methods suited for adult learners.
• Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
• Provide feedback on clinical performance promptly.
• Supervise student clinical experiences and evaluate outcomes.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in program planning.
