Genesis Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Nurse Instructor to lead and mentor the certified nursing assistant training program. The role includes planning, teaching, and coordinating the CNA program and supervising student performance.

You will also facilitate orientation and mentor nursing assistants while ensuring high-quality care across patient areas. Candidates should be RN-licensed with BLS, and bring 2+ years of clinical experience, including geriatric/long-term care exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with 1–2 years in long-term care/geriatric nursing.
• Must complete a course that focuses on teaching adult students and have experience supervising nurse aides.
• Maintain current BLS; CPR certification required per state requirements.

Bring your clinical skills and passion for teaching to our team where you will inspire, support, mentor and nurture future nursing assistants as a Nurse Instructor.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of one to two years of clinical experience in long-term care/geriatric nursing (State or Regulatory Agency requirements may vary).
• Must complete a course that focuses on teaching adult students, have experience in teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides (State or Regulatory Agency requirements may vary).
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CPR certification required per State Specific Requirements.
