Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse II to deliver individualized, goal-directed patient care on a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating shifts. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN with ADN or Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and obtain BSN within four years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN with ADN or Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state; current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Deliver patient/family centered care with attention to physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
