Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a RN I-Direct Care for the San Angelo area. This full-time role supports Nursing services at the Hinojos Creek site and offers evening shifts with additional opportunities for Day or Evening work.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Texas.
• Graduation from ACEN/CCNE accredited program required.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings are required.
• May require weekend/holiday work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Observes individuals for unusual symptoms and reactions.
• Performs physical health assessments and documents findings.
• Implements and monitors individual case management service plans.
• Instructs individuals on health care needs and follow-up.
• Supervises nursing care on the unit and supports staff.
