Health & Human Services Comm is seeking an RN I - Direct Care for Abilene State Supported Living Center. The role supports morning, evening, and night shifts and may include overtime.

You will administer medications, assess health needs, and supervise nursing care across units, ensuring compliance with standards. This regular, full-time position offers telework not available and requires TX RN licensure with possible COOP considerations.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Texas (or reciprocity).
• Graduation from an ACEN/CCNE accredited program is required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications, immunizations, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Conduct physical health assessments and implement actions.
• Develop and monitor individual care plans and case management.
• Instruct individuals on health care needs and self-care.
• Maintain and review medical records and assessments.
• Comply with state/federal standards and Nurse Practice Act.
