Job summary

The Division of Youth Services within the State of Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive health care to detained and committed youth. Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado or eNLC state.
• Minimum qualifications include licensure and citizenship/residency requirements.
• Experience with adolescent health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessments and triage for youth health needs.
• Administer medications, maintain MARs, and monitor adverse effects.
• Provide health education and coordinate with mental health resources.
• Document encounters in electronic medical records with HIPAA compliance.
