Qualifications

• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

• Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Assists the nursing staff in delivery of patient care according to RN instructions.
• Aids with activities of daily living without exposure to body fluids or devices.
• Performs patient transport, mobility assistance, sitter duties and visual monitoring.
