Job summary

BayCare seeks a Nurse Helper to support nursing staff in patient care on the St Josephs Main and Childrens units. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and monitoring under the guidance of the RN.

This full-time, night-shift role requires BLS within 30 days, WELLE training, and Nurse Helper training before orientation. On-site position in the Tampa Bay area with no remote work.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Standard WELLE training required.
• Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering patient care under RN direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living without exposure to body fluids or devices.
• Provide patient transport, mobility support, sitter duties and visual monitoring.
