Job summary

Healthier Mississippi People LLC seeks nurse graduates who are board eligible to work under the direct supervision of an RN. After competency is demonstrated, you will provide direct and indirect patient care as outlined by unit orientation and hospital policy, until you obtain Mississippi Board of Nursing licensure.

You will work within inpatient/outpatient units with duties delegated by the RN, contributing to safe and therapeutic patient care and the operation of the unit during orientation

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing/Diploma required.
• Must obtain a valid nursing license within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, intake/output, pulse oximetry, and weights accurately.
• Assist and prepare patients for treatment, exams, and procedures as directed by RN.
• Administer baths and basic hygiene as directed by RN.
• Assist with sample collection and delivery to labs.
• Ensure proper patient charges and report equipment needs.
