The role supports RN staff by performing patient care activities, participating in care planning, implementation, observation, and reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse; strong emphasis on patient safety and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program, and upon completion of first clinical rotation.
• Experience: None required
• Certifications: AHA BLS must be current or obtained during program

Responsibilities

• Assist RN staff with patient care activities.
• Participate in care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Report significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
