St. Luke's University Health Network invites nursing students enrolled in BSN programs entering senior year to join the Student Nurse Extern- Level II for a 9-week summer program across multiple campuses (Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, and more).

The role provides hands-on experience under RN mentorship, with 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday. You will perform essential nursing tasks, learn the nursing process, and gain observation opportunities in specialty areas.

Formación

• Follows treatment plan as directed by licensed personnel.
• Currently enrolled in BSN program and entering senior year.
• Must have Basic Life Support/CPR certification and ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Follows treatment plan as directed by licensed personnel.
• Performs vital signs, intake/output measurements, glucometry, specimen collection.
• Assists with admitting process and documents appropriately.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality; communicates changes to RN.
