Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System is seeking a Nurse Extern for nursing students to immerse themselves in practical nursing care. Under the supervision of experienced Registered Nurses, externs will engage in patient care tasks, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment.

This position offers mentorship and the opportunity to explore diverse nursing areas based on personal interests. Candidates must be students in a nursing program starting their clinical rotations and commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a nursing program and starting first rotation of clinicals.
• Commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per schedule.
• Priority for applicants who are one year out from graduating.

Responsibilities
