Job summary

Infor Health is seeking a Nurse Extern to support patient care in a hospital setting. The role includes providing direct care, completing documentation, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of an RN.

Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekend hours (0700-1930 and 1900-0730). You will perform head-to-toe assessments, data collection, wound care, catheter care, and basic procedures while maintaining infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to assigned patient population.
• Complete documentation of patient care and progress.
• Assist with activities of daily living and rounds.
• Communicate with patients, families, and licensed staff.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and data collection.
• Assist with specimen collection and lab transport.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and patient safety.
• Work under RN supervision and on-call rotations.
