Methodist Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Extern in Indiana to work closely with our healthcare team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including measuring and recording vital signs, intake/output, mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and safety interventions.
• Assist in performing various therapeutic procedures.
• Contributes to interdisciplinary care plan under RN preceptor.
• Provide education to patient and family about care.
• Document all patient care activities in the EMR per policy.
• Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
