North Central Baptist Hospitals is seeking a nurse extern to support basic and intermediate nursing care across assigned units. You will work under supervision to assess patients, participate in care planning, and document care while adhering to established policies.

Must be enrolled in an accredited RN program and in final clinical practicum, with BLS due within 60 days. Shifts may include 4–12 hour blocks. Eligible for comprehensive Baptist Health System benefits.

Formación

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and entering final clinical practicum.
• Must have completed a basic clinical skills lab.
• Active BLS within 60 days of hire and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in providing nursing care to patients under general supervision.
• Assist in assessment of physical, psychological and social dimensions of patients.
• Assist in planning and implementing a formal plan of patient care.
• Assist in evaluating nursing care provided.
• Document care according to policies and procedures.
• Intervene with proper technique and safety precautions.
• Sign documentation reflecting nurse extern role.
• Reinforce patient/family instruction per care plan.
• Assist with non-invasive and non-sterile treatments as listed.
