Job summary

West Boca Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Nurse Extern who is currently enrolled in an accredited RN program and has completed Nursing fundamentals. On duty, you will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic patient care to support physical, emotional, and social needs.

You may also be cross-trained to perform unit secretary clerical duties under RN supervision. Educational requirements include enrollment in an RN program and completion of initial clinical rotations;

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program, and upon completion of first clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic patient care.
• Cross-train to perform unit secretary clerical duties.
• Nursing interventions to support RN staff validation.
