Research Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Student to join our healthcare family in a learning and engaged position. The Nurse Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and assists with basic patient care tasks in accordance with training and departmental needs.

You must be actively enrolled in an accredited RN Nursing program with Nursing Fundamentals completed by the start date.

Formación

• Actively enrolled in an Accredited RN Nursing Program, with completion of Nursing Fundamentals by the start date scheduled.
• Start date can be extremely flexible to put a priority around school.
• Must be currently enrolled in a BSN or ADN (RN) nursing program in a college of nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED completed and actively in a nursing program.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services under RN supervision.
• Assist nursing staff in providing patient care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Support opportunities for hands-on learning and shadow time on additional units during the rotation cycle.
