Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Associate, Chief Nursing Officer located at Bayfront Hospital in St. Pete, FL. The role oversees delivery of patient care, quality, patient satisfaction, and budget compliance within nursing services, while leading committees and collaborating with executives.

Required are a BSN, MSN or equivalent graduate degree, Florida RN licensure (or NLC), and ANCC/NEA-BC certification within 2 years. Six years of nursing management experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or graduate degree in business or health-related field required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• National leadership board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC); NEA-BC within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Plans, leads, organizes, directs & evaluates the delivery of patient care to achieve sustained outcomes.
• Monitors quality, patient satisfaction, and budgeting standards to meet hospital goals.
• Provides accountability and coordination of nursing services within the hospital.
• Speaks on behalf of hospital allied nursing services in leadership meetings.
