The role partners with the Vice President of Nursing to provide strategic direction, workforce planning, and collaboration with medical staff, while advancing professional nursing practice and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in nursing from an accredited school. Master’s degree in nursing and/or Masters in business or related field.
• Maintains current RN licensure in the State of Alabama. National specialty certification in Nursing Administration or CNV required within 2 years of hire.
• Ten years of progressive leadership experience in nursing and healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Leads nursing practice and sets strategic direction for patient care.
• Collaborates with medical staff and administration to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees budgeting, staffing, and resources for nursing services at the site.
• Partners with executive leadership to advance professional practice and patient safety.
