Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to lead staff education, orientation, and competency development. The role supports clinical excellence by coordinating residency programs for new graduates and ongoing professional training.

A current IL RN license and BLS are required, with 2+ years in acute care and 1+ year as a preceptor. The Educator collaborates with clinical managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, oversees targeted training,

Qualifications

Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
Minimum of 2 years acute care experience.
Minimum of 1 year preceptor experience.
BSN preferred, advanced education encouraged.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing educational support, orientation, and mentorship to new nurses.
Coordinate unit-based education and competency development to ensure clinical excellence.
Serve as liaison between education and clinical managers to facilitate timely orientation completion.
