Position Overview:
The UNC Medical Center Outpatient Education and Training team seeks a dedicated Nurse Educator to support nursing and clinical staff development, including onboarding, competency, practice, and ongoing professional growth in ambulatory/outpatient clinics and procedural areas. Responsibilities include onboarding/orientation, educational support, regulatory compliance, skill training, apprentice programs, student placement, organizational initiatives, and policy development. Clinical experience in children’s and/or women’s services and professional certification are preferred.
This is a weekday, on-site position based at Hedrick Building, Chapel Hill, NC, with occasional travel to off-site clinics. Strong communication, adaptability, creativity, initiative, organization, and time management skills are essential for managing multiple projects and clinics.
Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
Full-time, exempt, on-site position at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC. Salary range: $35.52 - $49.81 per hour, based on experience. Benefits included.
