Job summary

Aura Health seeks a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Generalist to design and deliver educational programs that close clinical practice gaps. You will mentor staff, lead inter-professional learning, and drive evidence-based practice in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

In this role, you will partner with clinical teams to promote lifelong learning, support practice transitions, and act as a change agent to improve processes and patient outcomes. Texas license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current nursing license in Texas.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator preferred.
• Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience with adult education application in hospital or academic settings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate adult learning by designing educational programs to address practice gaps identified through needs assessments.
• Act as a change agent to improve healthcare processes and practices.
• Mentor and contribute to the professional growth of healthcare staff.
• Lead and influence inter-professional practice and learning environments.
• Promote scientific inquiry by encouraging evidence-based practice and knowledge dissemination.
