Job summary

Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced RN Educator to lead clinical education and orientation for new hires and seasoned staff.

You will design and deliver evidence‑based curricula, align training with Joint Commission and CMS standards, and collaborate with CNO/DON to improve patient safety and care quality across inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or other clinical field or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or commensurate experience required.
• Five+ years strongly preferred.
• Three years RN experience required.
• Inpatient psychiatry RN experience strongly preferred.
• Two years behavioral health RN experience required.
• 1+ years in Clinical Education/Training and Development preferred.
• NPD Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates orientation/onboarding program to promote employee retention.
• Develops education plans and curricula for staff.
• Aligns education with Joint Commission, CARF, CMS and state requirements.
• Collaborates with Nursing leadership to improve competency and patient safety.
• Provides just‑in‑time education and staff resources.
