Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist to enhance learner outcomes and educational programs within the Heart Hospitals in Plano, TX.

The role emphasizes developing training for nursing staff, evaluating program outcomes, and collaborating with multiple teams. Travel weekly to Baylor Heart Hospitals is required; two days are spent in Plano with one remote day and two days at other heart hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and RN license are required.
• At least 2 years of pertinent nursing experience is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning.
• Identify staff needs and modify educational material to suit those needs.
• Help implement education plans and create a positive environment to reach goals.
• Design and assess educational activities and engage team members.
• Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes and adjust content based on data.
• Build relationships with community education programs and weave ethics through practice.
