Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level *Job Summary* A Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist role uses expertise to enhance healthcare methods for learners. They improve patient outcomes and their techniques. *Essential Functions of the Role* * You will create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning. * You'll identify the needs of our staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs. * You will help implement education plans. You will create a positive environment to reach our goals. * You'll design and assess educational activities and projects. You'll engage team members and implement evidence-based content. * Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes. Involve learners in evaluation and adjust material based on data collected. * You'll build relationships with various community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of your educational practice. *Key Success Factors* * Familiarity with nursing practices, standards of patient care and procedures. * Comprehensive grasp of pertinent laws, regulations and standards set by accrediting agencies. * Knowledgeable in the areas of health promotion, illness prevention, and healthcare terminology. * A deep respect for medical and nursing ethics, and commitment to safeguarding patient confidentiality. * Adaptable teaching skills that cater to diverse learning methods. * Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for interacting with a varied group of people. *Salary* *The pay range for this position is $40.35 (entry-level qualifications) - $62.52 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.* * *Belonging Statement* We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. *Qualifications* * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. * At least (2) two years of pertinent experience is essential. * (RN) Registered Nurse license and (BLS) Basic Life Support certification.
